If you were in charge of the war in Iraq, what kind of exit stratagy would you use to end the war in Iraq AND unite the democrats and the rebublicans. Please take into consideration we can't change the past and we are already there.

I feel that the terrorists have suceeded in dividing our country and we need a stratagy that can make all sides happy, if that is even possible. Putting more troops in and having a very quick sweep of Iraq then rounding up all suspected terrorists. These people need to be handed over to the Iraqi government. We need to make some serious military moves followed by giving the Iraqi's a timeline of three months, and then seriously beefing up our national security by redeploying troops around the United States might help. I feel it is imperative that all politicians back the president on a quick, swift plan. Though it would never happen lol.

there is no way that will happen if there still exist liberal who will wince every time people say 'swept', 'roundup' and 'suspected terrorists' because they will imagine 'human right abuse' as the most likely outcome for the action. The war in Iraq also does not only concern Iraq, it also concern to neighboring conflict like the Kurd, Iran, Pakistan, the Jews, and all the Muslim who is still resenting America(even Afgan resent America for going in a take out the Taliban), so we have to keep the pressure up on that front until they give up or we run out of energy(which they'll retaliate in weak successions, but it'll be like kicking a downed man).

Too many pacifists in this country. I think the gap betwen the sides is growing daily. We all win if we win, we all lose if we lose. This is not a damn game. This is about our lives!
