We can't do **** all, hey we aren't in positions of power, and some people in the world who contribute to global warming don't care, hell some people in the world still deny it.

But there are good people out there coming up with things to improve the world and stop such things. Go find out about some of the latest advancements in technology out there. We aren't screwed completely, not just yet.

Oh and please, if you're one of those people who are saying, "Global Warming? It's bloody cold here", I've got something that may just open your eyes, take a look at Australia, and find out about the current events in Australia, namely a certain drought that is basicly the worst one ever recorded for Australia. Yep, destroying a lot of farmers lives with no rain that, oh my, MIGHT HAVE A FAIRLY GOOD RELATION TO GLOBAL WARMING. Or hey, maybe it's just a coincidence, I don't know, I'm just this intellegent person and all...

Nuclelar War is inevitable. When? Who knows, but it will come. Why? Because human beings choose to dislike/hate each other, envy/lust of what the other have, and allows for worse to worst in their mentality that leads to where we are continuously headed. "Only our creator will put an end to the mess we as a creation has made"

Global warming - it's not crap, it's really simple. What the earth is doing now is what we have over thousands of years caused. We have new technology, we overtax the earth for our selfish gain. Only our creator will be able to save us from what we have causes.

No, I am not a religious fanatic, don't label me. IF you have studied the Bible, you should understand there is a caause for every effect. Read some of the Parables in the Bible, same mindset. Take a penny and what would each person do with it? The result is due to what they chose to do with that penny, be it for good or bad. It's about what we choose to do and how it affects the whole.

Okay enough, don't want to hear this is too much to read. Though if you are truly concerned, reading is not a problem.

The 54 people who died in this latest snow storm might disagree with the global warming part of your statement.

But you are right, people need to be informed. But that includes learning about BOTH sides of an issue and not just accepting the hyperboly put out by the activists. Otherwise, the "solutions" one side advocates may be worse than the problem.

At our doorstep? Really? Can you tell me what prompted this? And can you back it up with some facts, please?

If you read the piece about the Doomsday Clock, then realize that it has been around since 1947, it has only moved 2 minutes since 2002, and that it is just an attention getter for an advocacy group. The world doesn't end if they move the hand to midnight. The people *want* nuclear weapons don't currently have them, global warming is debated, even among scientists, and all of this is purely speculation by the Bulletin of the Atomic Sciences.

I agree that the majority of people are either ignorant, oblivious, dont care..... and just hope that it all sorts itself out, the fact that to a lot of people the most important thing in there life is Big Brother i think is very sad and disturbing!!, plus its a totally sh***e programme as well.
Global warming is real, and it is happening and will reshape our lives, GET IT ALL YOU AMERICANS!!, if all the predictions of global warming come true it surely would not be Armageddon for all of us, the human race will survive all be it in a very differ ant way, and of course a lot of people will not survive, can we do anything about it, i would say we can, but generally speaking the human race is way to selfish to make the necessary changes and sacrifice to there way of lives until it hits them, then its to late.

As for the Nuclear war side of things, Steven Hawkins reckons that global warming will be worse than a nuclear Holocaust, how can that be true, if the whole planet is contaminated with radioactive fallout then we are all doomed!!

I'm not sure us on our fat backsides know what to do. I recycle, turn off lights do all the stuff I'm meant too what else is there? I wondered if a worldwide strike might make those in the position to 'do' do. It will be interesting to see if you receive any good ideas as a result of this posting :)

I don't think there is any significant risk of nuclear war in the near future. Any "rogue state" that dares to attack us will be obliterated - and they know that.

As for global warming, I think the threat is being taken seriously, and things are being done.

So why not indulge in a little unimportant stuff to do with channel 4

Shut up, sit down, switch the tv on & drink your coca cola, while munching on your Macdonalds like a good little citizen!

And dont even think about voting because one person cannot change anything anyway!
