So tell me, if you see a man dressed shabbily on the street corner preaching the end of the world, you'd probably call him a nut.

The doomsday clock people are the "end of the world" nuts of science. They just dress better than the religious ones.

Seriously, these guys been telling us global nuclear war was very close for a generation, and it still hasn't happened. You'd think they would have been discredited by now.

Based on the current "state" of the world it may be. The scientists also adjusted the clock because of global warming (first ever adjustment for non-nuclear reasons) The world seems to be spinning (no pun intended) out of control and we need for the younger people of the world to come together with one voice and tell world leaders about our concerns for the future>

Doomsday is tomorrow.

Really, seriously, it might be and there is no way of telling. We all die eventually and the time of death is not something we normally can know. So, in effect, yes. Doomsday is always upon us. Time to get yourself in order and start living instead of worrying about something you can't stop.

Iran's nuclear program is a definite threat to Israel, and something must be done about it: no-one wins a nuclear war!
