I am assuming that you want to clear out the deleted content off your drive...there are a few different methods to do this...but, you must be careful...backup & test any critical data first.
Method 1:
- Download and purchase Eastec Eraser or an equivalent program. It will allow you to securely wipe any space that is not currently marked as being used (slack space). It can also securely wipe files and folders that you want to delete perminately.
Method 2:
- Use ghost to backup the visible data to another drive that has been previously completely wiped. You can then choose to wipe the original drive and ghost back to it or just carry on with the ghosted duplicate.
Just remember...when you wipe a drive correctly, the data is not recoverable and is perminately gone.

It really isnt possible. In theory you should be able to go through all the files one by one and delete all those that are not part of windows. However, there are all kinds of system files and registry entires that also may have been modified. It would be almost impossible to go through all those as well. To really clean the hard drive, your best bet is a system reformat.

Your Operating System, in this case - Windows, resides on your hard drive. You cannot completely clean your hard drive without removing everything on it - including the operating system - if it is your primary hard drive.

Technically the answer is convinced - if the gadget might want to correctly be set as well from a USB force. although the answer you want relies upon on what type of a laptop the chum has. you should use a regularly occurring, retail disc in case you acquire each of the particular drivers first and in case you take advantage of the unique Setup key, which should be on a sticky label on the laptop case.

You can take your system restore back to day one. But there'll still be some stuff to manually erase. It's just as tedious as re-installing windows.

Basically, you can't. There are programs out there that claim it, and they can be found through ZD Net, but they cannot do what they claim.
