The wealthy have always made up lies as to why they deserve more, fact is that they dont. They say "free market" dictates it all, so lets tell them what we are willing to pay and see how they like it. Actors paid 20mil for one movie, 15 mil per year to read the news, 2.2 mil for one actor for one episode of frasier, 1 million a week for some guy to kick balls? The world has gone mad. Would you join a worldwide revolution where every person on the planet was joined through the internet to boycott businesses until they stopped paying CEOs 20ml a year and all the other parasites? boycott movies at random until they send actors reality cheques instead of bigger pay cheques? Its your world why shouldnt you have your FAIR share and tell the parasites where to stick it? This will be starting soon, are you in?

How about if I make my invention so expensive that no one on the planet can afford it so you all end up living in the streets? would that be OK because thats what free enterpise is all about? Its OK if it doesnt affect you. Millions are starving and Fwits are whining about how fair it is for someone to make millions a week because they are so valuable. YOU people are morons and a discrace to humanity.

how the hell u gonna pull that off,
if ur joined thru the internet n how u gonna boycott all that, the CEO's will just have u all arrested n you'd be squashed in a day. Just live with it like all the rest of us hard working citizens. Life can be unfair but its life.

Im sure if someone paid u 20 mil to not start a revolution, you'd take it. LOL

Want some cheese with that whine? Guess what? The world owes you nothing. What's mine is mine, what's yours is yours. You want more? Earn it. Just because someone makes 20 million doesn't mean that's 20 million you'll never get. Money is a virtual concept now, and there's no limit to how much of it there is, so go get yourself some, and quit complaining about everyone else's paycheck.

Absolutely not.

This country gives everyone opportunities to work hard and to excel. Not everyone manages to excel, but the opportunity is still there. Capitalism may not be perfect, but it breeds incentive and offers possibilities that makes things happen and drives innovation.

Besides, it's the wealthy who give most to the world's charities, and builds businesses that create jobs for others. Without incentive, you end up with mediocrity and dismal economies.

Not only NO, but HECK NO!

if you dedicated your life with blood sweat and tears at your own company then you deserve the hig pay off. you only get a fair share if you work for it, not by sitting back and listening to Jerry Springer, and you guys are the same ones complaining about welfare.

Communism doesn't work...just ask any of the new Vietnam immigrants...I like the fact a very few people make outrageous money..There is always hope for me...Gotta go check my lotto ticket !

Wait a minute...! HOLD IT! What if a person feels that he/she is worth what he's asking for? Well, let's face it, not everyone can kick a ball through the goal posts like those pro football players... and if they didn't make that kind of money, then the owners would be making THAT much more... so, why NOT let those that are bringing in the crowds of paying spectators earn some of the small fortunes that are made every single day they play? Same with baseball players. Why should only club owners make those mega bucks...?

Heck, Steinbrenner makes money from the concessions and he also wanted to get a dollar for every hotdog sold outside in the streets around Yankee stadium from those poor schnooks that push their rented carts for long hours in the blazing heat of summer or the cold days of winter just to make a few dollars to pay their rents, bills and support a family!

Listen, first of all, I agree with you in one thing: prices are getting ridiculous (sugar prices has NOT gone up but the candy bar prices have gone up like crazy, along with soft drinks) and I am the first one to ask, "How much is enough?" to those crazy salaries being paid today, but... HOW do you propose to limit what people can or cannot earn? How about those large corporate CEOs that get a few hundred millions a year plus insane and outrageous (and obscene) fringe benefits upon retiring or leaving...? How do you propose to stop that? The only ones that have a say in that matter are stockholders and they seem not to care.

It's funny how those that do not make an effort to work hard enough to get ahead in this competitive world are the first ones that want to limit what the more talented and more industrious and more ingenious individuals are earning. Why is that those that contribute the least in society are the ones that make the most demands? Why is it that the "Have nots" are the ones that always want to share what the "Haves" have without so much as deserving it?

If I am willing to work harder at inventing something or working extra hours at a job so that I can have extra money to work and develop an idea or invention to make money... why should I have to share it with someone who is not willing or too lazy to work extra for what I have?

You remind me of those Cadillac and Lexus cars lined up in ghetto neigborhoods where the majority of the people claim to be unfit to work, live on Welfare and have 3 or 4 huge color TVs, all sorts of expensive music blasting equipment, all of the latest in electronic gear, the kids wear $200 sneakers, $180 sweaters, $300 coats, $190 shoes... yet they live off of Welfare and receive Food Coupons! C'mon, be real!

And, if someone does something that makes him/her unique and people want to see and are willing to pay for it... WHO are you to say that person should not be paid extra? That's part of the bargaining freedom that makes it possible for talented and gifted people to get ahead in this country of ours...

WHY don't you b/itch and complain to the elected officials to do something about the super rich and powerful companies that are overcharging and profiteering at the expense of the war? THAT would be an honorable fight that I'd gladly join you in; those companies are responsible for our elderly, our retired, our disabled and poor to pay more for their life-sustaining pharmaceuticals and also pay more taxes... while they outsource jobs to other foreign countries and refuse to hire Americans but want American dollars to pay for their products.

WHY don't you b/itch and complain about those companies that are double-billing and over-billing or cheating the government (charging for non-existing workers... like in the colleges, where Presidents and some Provosts have relatives on payrolls) and in repair contracts with private contractors (schools, bridges, public works, etc)??? That's also a major cause of our taxes going up!

Hey, I'd join you in a heartbeat! But, leave the individual person who's got a talent or gift that makes him/her stand out and make people want to enjoy their performances... it's part of the American way here, and part of the competitive way that gives us the best in people.

The problem with YOUR "Master Plan" is that every single other person that has come along with similar "Master Plan" ideas have gotten rich and set themselves and their relatives above the populace while enriching themselves... so, you really think you'd get far here? You must be delusional!

Take your efforts and direct them toward ending corruption, greed, mafeasance, ineptitude, incompetence and cronyism in goverment jobs and I might join your campaign... let's start by getting rid of the deadbeats in our educational system, our sanitation departments, those departments that are not fulfilling their roles in catching waste and corruption!

You propose to tell others what to do... how about if they tell YOU what to do? Did you graduate from Yale, Cornell, Harvard, Columbia and Stanford at the same time with the highest honors to tell us what YOU think you know? Bwa-hahahahaha....wake up, you're dreaming!

As the song says, "Git a job...! Shananana..." One word for you: SHUDDAP!

I agree with you 99%. But, I am a communist evolutionary, as opposed to revolutionary. We have seen vanguard parties and revolutions descend into leader-cults. I am for a Trotsky style communism, but it must be done by winning the hearts and minds of the people. We need to ween them off their greed. I am afraid the days of revolution are over.
