Archie Manning was great in NO in his time, and you have to admit, raising TWO sons who became NFL QBs including one that is a "Superstar," well, that is no small acheivement! Archie Manning has my total respect.
Unfortunately NOT my vote! Second playoff win in FORTY YEARS! First time EVER to the NFC Championship! Yeah, he's only been there ONE season, but oh Nelly, what a season! Drew Brees is helping to re-write Saint's history! And no matter how far they get THIS year, there is every indication that NEXT year will be even better.
I know its early to say this, but my vote is Drew Brees, hands down.

OK, I understand the nostalgia for Archie Manning and even Bobby Hebert. But while they played, the Saints were the NFL's joke. This is all changing with Drew Brees. And it isn't a case of "well, they had times tough and Brees has it easy because NO is better now...."
Brees is one of the KEY reasons that NO is better now! Maybe some people think its just too early after only one season. Well, OK, ask us again next year, he's not going anywhere, the answer will be the same but more so...... Drew Brees!

Archie Manning will always be one of our favorites. He's a great guy and local icon. Bobby Hebert is also a favorite as he is a hometown fellow. But neither one of them has had the winning success that Drew Brees is enjoying. Am sure Drew is going to be tops really soon.

Archie Manning. Brees still needs a lot of years to take that title away..Manning was there through some really, really bad times and the city will always have a special place for him.

Of all time, it's still Archie Manning. However, if Drew Brees continues to play this well and gives the Saints one or more Super Bowls, then he may very well surpass Archie.
