I would like to know why these two countries are fighting over kashmir? what actually happened? when the british left , didnt they solve this problem before giving them independence? Please brighten my knowledge on this issue.

from what i remember form my History classes is that they are in dispute of what is called Kashimir, this are is mostly Muslim and they have never been able to solve this issue. they started this issue after the British left. after they left,
pakistan and India separated ,because of of religious differences: India is majority Hindu, and Pakistan is Muslim.

actually they dint consider them a seperate country before and each of them claimed it to be their own.......
but now the kashmiris r being given their freedom....i heard on news dat now its separate country or goin to be........
and btw kashmir being the heaven on earth who dsnt want it.......
