We attack and bomb civilian targets as well...no warning, no mercy.
Tripoli, Hanoi,Hiroshima, Tokyo,Nagasaki,Cologne, Dresden.etc. We bomb...they bomb...we serve a bitter medicine, we shall drink it as well.
Our ...Defense Dept....totally failed the USA on 9/11/01
Our....Intelligence Services....CIA,NSA,FBI...totally failed us on 9/11/01
Our Customs and Border Security people ..totally failed us on 9/11/01
NONE OF THESE PEOPLE WAS HELD ACCOUNTABLE..none, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL FOR NEGLIGENCE. But they walked
We are a nation of bombers...WE should have seen it coming..it was predictable.
The USA is a terrorist nation...some of that karma had to come back to haunt us..it was in the laws of averages.

I think we were upset because the average American doesn't think about what goes on in the world. I personally think 9/11 was an inside job.But I do agree with you sort of. We do exploit other countries usually for oil,we give them loans and then when they cant pay we send in the jackal. Have you ever read Confessions of an Economic Hit man by John Perkins. Very interesting book.

All the things you mention were during a declared war between nations that had been recognized as nations. Planning a sneak attack against innocent people is wrong. But OK we do accept it and are going to Kill 300,000 terrorists for the souls of the 3,000. Any future attacks by the cowards will result in the same ratio, perhaps worse maybe we should ramp it up some instead of 100 cowards in Osamas Army we need to make it 1000 for every American or Ally Killed......Your Ball A SS!

The system failed (if there was one) just like Pearl Harbor. Was anyone in the US crucified for the failed intel that time? It would be counter productive then as it would after 9/11.
And "no" the US is NOT a nation of bombers, not before not now. I'm not kissin asszes here. You can't be so simplistic to make comparisons just like that - it's much more complex.
Buddy, nobody over here saw the Dec 26th tsunami coming - it killed 250,000 people despite repeated warnings by US-trained marine-weather scientist (Thai).
Complacency and a whole lot of other factors numb our senses and blind our so-called 'foresight'. Intelligence is only useful if one acts on it. We are humans with all our frailties and imperfections.

We were attacked in an unprovoked terrorist plot. I as most, would admit we have made some mistakes. I fail to see the comparing of WWII military actions with 9/11. We certainly are not a nation of bombers. If you feel so strongly, why don't you move to a nation that supports your views. Check on immigration opportunities to move to Iran or North Korea. If you like warm weather perhaps try Cuba.

to answer your question without the hubblab of your details, 9/11 is not only political but in case you havent notice, thousands of our friends, familys and loved ones were killed. but you wouldn't know that seeing all the debis fall in the air with chunks of body pieces lying all over the ground and blood splashed in the streets now would you.
Instead of pointing fingers at people we are not 100% sure should be responsible (even though with me the blame will always rest with those who hijacked the plane) we need to remeber the lives of the innocent lost because of silly politics. where is your soul?

WHlie I was out of the country on 9/11/01, in New Zealand at the time, I broke down and cried , as I woke up to seeing my couuntry under attack! While our foregion policy of interfearing with in the internal affairs of other nations, is not right in my view, those who attacked us on 911 need to be taken off the face of this planet. Instead our illustrious leader invaded Iraq, which could of waited if it was necessary, until we annialated those who attacked us, then we could sort out why it happened, who was to balme, what could have been done to prevent it, but when someone slugs you in the mouth, you fight back and kick them in the balls, and beat the crap ot of them, then figure out why they attacked you!

One thing I am sure of is I know you are a liberal only a liberal would have such a convoluted and irrational way of thinking to even pose this question. The US usually do not start trouble and every one of those nations deserved to be bombed because they started crap.
I am happy to live in a nation that will not take crap from anyone, except for a portion of the bed wetters that reside in our nation that always want to dialog with our enemies while they lop off our heads with swords

We bomb during war.
The US Gov't never hijacked planes full of people and flew them into buildings which were also full of people.
Don't be absurd. You think you're being smart by asking this question, but you're not.

All those examples were from wars in the past. DECLARED WARS! And, those wars were in support of OTHER COUNTRIES. Tripoli probably being the only exception but it was in response to a terrorist attack.
The fact that you make excuses for terrorism makes you suspect.
