you must have an adapter (card reader) that plugs the psp memory stick into and connects to your computer, then you download to the memory stick

You can do it if you save the update from the Playstation website to the memory stick, You just need a computer with the Internet and a USB cable.

it's easy. u dun need a memory card reader. but u have u can use it too. if u dont have, u need a USB cable. the one with big USB head on one side and a small head on the other side.
then go http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmwares/catid/163. to download the firmware u wan. connet ur PSP to computer. the rest is stated in the website
