Saying they're strange is very condemning and almost racistic. Saying that all the people are the same just because they come from the same country? Every human being is individual and unique - of course they are influated by thei culture and society, but in the end, they all decide for themselves. You are a little strange though, with your inability to understand other cultures.

Being "strange" is in the eye of the beholder. You look as strange to them as they are to you, because you have a different culture and genes. But in the end we are all just people. Be good be nice

HI
When I was younger I found everything strange but as you get older you understand diversity better. Their cultures and behaviors are extremely different and many families live together in one house, so yes it was strange but when you learn about their culture and the reasons why they start to make sense.

I'm sure that the first time they came over to your country they found your people to be strange, but you should try to get to know a person before you judge them you may be surprised to find they are a lot like you.
We are all different in Meany ways. But we are all human beings

It's because of your level of education, intellect, sophistication, and worldly exposure. If your range of contact and exposure to people is limited to your immediate family or clan, say a remote tiny town of montana and suddenly transported from that sheltered closed existence to the midst of people of new york, lousiana, california, etc. You'd find them quite strange too, guaranteed.

I've been here [ China ] for 6 years now, so here are some of my observations:
Chinese generally will not help each other when faced with someone who is injured or in need of physical assistance. Unless it is direct family.
Chinese are extremely un-observant, they don't notice physical details.
When in a business situation and the possibility of making money, Chinese will only think about here and now. Not think about developing trust for the future.
Chinese often don't plan, they make decisions at a moments notice and expect everything to fall into place regardless of how it effects in individual.
Chinese have little imagination and innovation, copy, copy, copy and sometimes improve.
Chinese will attempt to save money anyway they can at the expensive of quality and performance.
I could keep going but I'll stop here and await your thoughts.
