When I was about 5, we had a cottage in Canada and in the summer we would go and spend time with my cousins from June till Sept. and just run all over the place. That was the best.

When I was a little kid I used to have a perfume that smelled like buttercups. I took it with me on a vacation to Vermont with my grandparents (who were never very affectionate). I took a walk with my grandfather and dozens of monarch butterflies followed me everywhere because they thought I was the biggest buttercup in the world. Since I was a little kid I didn't understand why they were following me so I asked my grandpa.
He told me it was because I was the prettiest little girl in the world. To the best of my recollection it was the only nice thing he ever said to me. The butterflies were beautiful, I was young and innocent, and my grandfather was nice. What could be better?

The 1st time my 2 year old son came up to me & gave me a HUGE hug & kiss & said "I love you" just because!
well, it was more like " i luh u"! BUT still a very touching moment b/w mommy & son!

When I first got my cat, Minnie. I was pretty young when I got her and now we are best friends. She always makes my day better.
