My son's adoptive mother did everything she could to reunite my son and I-and also accepted me and my daughter as her family. It was the greatest, most wonderful thing I could have ever hoped for!

accepted me for who I am without judgement or criticism. That is major for me because I'm stereotyped everyday and people always have these pre-set judgements before they even meet me which cause them to act certain ways, etc. My best friend, and my father is the biggest blessing that ever happened to me because no matter what I do or what I say or what mistakes I make, they never say "what were u thinking?" they say "don't worry about it, its going to be okay, lets go get something to eat"... I can be feeling like **** at the moment and I promise you they seem to calll and put a smile on my face seems like at the right time I need it and its not done intentionally... so the nicest thing someone has done for me is accept me, because accepting people is very hard especially if you have already labeled, judged, set your mind to assume you know who that person is....
By the way, you have a very sweet bf, lucky you...

Why was he terrified?
I was on a train to London from Yorkshire when I was 18 - going for a job interview. The train was packed and had a few people standing for the last few stops.
As we were about to pull into Kings Cross, I put my book down and started to get organised - reaching under my seat for my handbag. It was gone. I realised the very tattood women who had stood next to me and put loads of plastic bags on the floor must have grabbed it.
In it was all my money, cards, address for where I was going, phone, make-up, two bottles of very expensive perfume and my travel ticket. I was 300 miles from home and totally without a penny to my name. I was totally screwed.
I started running up the carriage begging people to check to see if they could see it - by this time I was beginning to lose it at had tears running down my eyes. I explained to the ticket guy my prediciment - he was not exactly helpful. As people got off they started to push £5 and £10 notes into my hands. I was finding it really hard not to start bawling at this point and was trying to turn it all down but everyone insisted - I ended up asking each and everyone of them for business cards.
Luckily I could remember the address for the interview and got there with the money given to me - but I was in such a frazzled state I didn't interview well and didn't get the job.
When I finally got home at 9pm that night my Mum and I sat down and wrote to each of the 6 people who had given me money, thanking them and returning their cash.
It was a truly crap day, but I'll never forget it as a show of how good people can be.

Well, a lot of things, but one specifically stands out in my mind. There was this guy in a small city where I lived, my friend rented his downstairs apartment, so I got to know him by acquanitence. Well, one day I was grocery shopping and all though he wasn't that well off himself, I was a struggling 18 year old, he handed me 20 bucks at the store, just outta the goodness of his heart. Pay it forward!

he is a very bad boy,
but when he's with me, he's become so nice.
he called me in the middle of the night just to say that he miss a lot and I'm the greatest thing that had happened to his life, that he will always protect me although he's not by my side, and never let me go. After that we both crying together.

God is the one who did a nicest thnig to me. he gave me the best parents in the whole world. and not only that he came in different forms to give me back my parents when i was abt to lose them. some years back my mother was hospitalized with pneumonia. we were scared of losing her, especially me. i had promised to kill myself the day i lose my mother. luckily, god came in the form of the doctor and the hospital staff who brought her back to me. My father is suffering from stone in the pancreas. once he was going to visit his mother. he had to travel abt 3 hrs to reach his native village. on the way he collapsed. his body went cold and many took him to be dead. Agian god came in the form of the bus driver and conductor, who took him to an hospital. the doctor told them that had they brought him a little late, he would have died. This has happened many times and each time god came n one form or another to save him. to this moment god is the one doing the nicest thing to me-keeping my parents healthy and happy are they are busying themselves with my brothers wedding which will take place on the 3rd of next month. this was a really good question and i enjoyed answering it.

lots of things, this one thing stands out for me.
My long time friend Barb and I were going to the movies, I had been in a terrible truck wreck and she had knee replacement so when we were trying to find a seat in the dark movie house she grabbed my hand so I wouldn't miss step and fall. I told her that you know your old when your girlfriend holds your hand in the movies.

My wife cooked fried egg and chips for me. It's the little gestures of kindness in this life, that make this world a better place.
