this sounds exactly like me!!! i have 3 , although they are 15, 13 and 11, and with the first 2 it was just basic morning sickness, with my last one, I had terrible headaches, and sickness. The doctors just kept checking on my blood pressure to make sure everything was ok, but everything went ok, and as soon as I gave birth it all disappeared...best of luck to you all

That was exactly what I had....my sickness continued into the 5th month of my pregnancy and the head-aches were driving me mad....I had a girl and have since been told that a female baby can cause extensive morning sickness ....not saying you are having a girl but just that was my outcome from the same symptoms that your wife has. But alas whatever you are having its an increase in hormones that are supposed to cause the bad head-aches and lots of morining sickness is indicative of good strong levels of the pregnancy hormone HCG so its a positive thing...even if your poor wife feels rubbish!! Goodluck to you both!!

If she is in the middle of or further on than her 2nd trimester, then I would get her to her midwife/doctor pretty quickly - severe headaches are one of the symptoms of Pre-Eclampsia, which is a very dangerous condition if not treated. Other symptoms include protein in the urine, high blood pressure (both can only be detected by a medical proffessional), and odema (swelling - usually in hands and/or face).
I am 26 weeks pregnant and at about 16 weeks developed severe headaches and vomiting. I was on dosulepin anti-depressants at the time, and my dr advised me to stop taking them immediately. After 3 days, the headaches became much less painful, and I only had nausea to contend with. within 5 days I was absolutely fine. I assume that it was an allergic reaction to my medication, so I would check that out, but headaches are quite common in pregnancy, apparently.Best of luck to you both (:

This can be normal. Also what are the sex of your other children? This could be another sex. Just make sure she knows to tell her doctor because you never know if something else would be wrong. But I am sure she is just fine. Also depending on how long it has been since she has had a baby, that could play an effect! Good luck!

Each pregnancy is different. I am 24 weeks with my 3rd and it has been totally different than my other 2. I have had a lot of headaches and groin pain, but I have had the morning sickness with all 3. Each womans body reacts differently to each pregnancy. Just relax this is all normal.

Call the doctor but I think it's due to hormones or the nasty viruses going round at the moment
