First off the temperature needs ot be near freezing point for condensation.
next you must have a high presure system that brings in the cold and it mixes with a low pressure system that brings the warm air.
When these two combine and meet you get Snow!

Now here's the thing. Back in 1992 Georgia had a low pressure system coming from the Gulf and streaming across Georgia and the high pressure systemn bringing in the cold air was coming from the north and looping at mid Georiga and swooping out towards the Carolinas.

This perfect stream and mixture was so precise that the meterologist predicted not just Snow, but blizzard conditons and Georgia got hit hard, but people here loved it. They woke up to 12 inches of snow in some areas,. The freeze knocked out powers and for three days Georgia was shut down.

Now talk about fun for those who never see snow, Georgians loved it, but now look at it from another perspective when the North got hit with a sever blizzard that lasted over 30 days and literally shut them down .

Now imagine being snowed in your home...stores closed, roads closed, no running water, the only food you get is what you already have. Your literally snowed in and a State of emergency is issued.
People get sick and die, some get cabin fever and freak out.
Snow is nice, but it also can be your enemy.

Think about the Western trail back in the 1800's when the travelers wanted to get to California to cash in on that Gold rush back in 1849. The wagons got hit with a horroible blizzard that shut them down for 90 days.
The storm was so fierce that they started to shoot their Horses in order to eat. When that was gone there was nothing left to eat all their animals had been killed and the blizzard never let up.

The phobia that hit the people knew that death was imminent.

The only source of food left was each other.
So when the next person dies, your the next meal on the plate and I say this to not be sarcastic about it. They iliterally had to turn to cannibalism in order to survive

. When it was over, it was so horrible, that the few who survived lived to tell about it.
What would you do?
