I think girls should date at 17 (alone in a car) I do not think they should be allowed to date anyone older than they are until they are 21... Thats how I feel about my granddaughters. I was 24 and My wife was 19 when we married. Having just graduated from high school she had no chance with someone like me. She should have waited and could have done much better for herself, but I'm glad she didn't.... I don't like girls giving anything to a boy or man to prove her love. If the man loved her he wouldn't ask for her to give up anything about herself she holds precious. Most Girls 13 and 14 have the body parts and surging hormones but do not have the maturity to date and control themselves. You have a lot of time to grow up. I am 60 and there are still some childish things I do and enjoy. (Model Trains Sing and play guitar..computer games...etc

The travelers get their kids growing up fast and have them picked by future hubsands by the age of 10.
The strut their stuff in a arena with make up on and dressed up and carrying a purse and the member of the travelers that is not married yet picks his future wife and she has no say so about it.
This is true. The Government tried to crack down on these people to stop this, but they are an organization travelling all over the United Sates and self supported. Even older girls strut their stuff and are picked as brides. It was on T.V. I literally tripped out on it.
The children are brainswashed into the organization. They will let no outsiders join. It began with one couple and now it is an entire family with a fleet. It has been called disgusting , by Dateline on NBC.
The last espisode of this aired back in 1988 something like that!

a day will come when you walk in the aisle of the supermarket and decide to buy that eyeliner that's lying there...
you can't set a good time it just happens with the make up and the dating and everything else....the world would be really easier if we can say "OK I'll start dating -again in my case- on the first of Feb and I'll start going to the hairdresser next week"
so what if come the first of February i haven't met someone i liked enough to go out with? and what if i just don't feel like going to the hairdresser...
don't choose a date and burden yourself with it we already go through life with enough obligations and sooner or later you'll find yourself wanting to wear make up and if that never happens well better for you!
growing up isn't about make up or dating.

well how old r u? im 15 and i started wearing make-up at the age of 12 (well other than lip gloss) and i started dating when i was 13 and my mom said that it was good that i was growing up and that i am matuer enough to have a bf and also to start wearing more make-up than wat i was so she started letting me have hers and going out like that. so it all depends on how old u are and if u really want to grow up as well. because as soon as i started wearing more make-up people thought i was really mature and older than wat i am and was. well i hope this helps you good luck!

when a person is mature enough to handle, and since maturity comes at different ages it is up to the custodial adults of this person to help her and advise her when the time is right
