i have bought myself things but i dont ever think i was deserving of them!

I bought myself a new watch last year because I won an award at college for my hard work. That was when I had done something to really deserve it.
I have bought things since and I work hard for the money I earn so I suppose I deserve all them as well

This past Thanksgiving! I've been on travel for work (2 weeks in MD and 2 weeks in Cali) and making a travel bonus. So with that bonus, I decided to buy myself a 42" plasma TV at a Black Friday sale. Great investment! Before that, it had been 2 years since I bought something nice for myself.

my birthday two years ago, not because I dont deserve anything nice, I have three kids and would rather buy them stuff. I'm not really that much into myself as I am the happiness of my kids and other lived ones. I could use a new pair of slippers though.

I am expecting a skirt and sweater in the mail today that I ordered, plus I ordered me a wolf calendar(usually I would not pay $15.00, for a calendar, but it's wolves)
2 weeks ago I bought me a native American vase.
See, I am spoiling myself this month, and next month, I have to be frugal.

I usually buy something because of two reasons, and they have to be concurrent.
one is that I want whatever it is bad enough to trade money for it.
The other is that I actually have money to trade.
Beyond that, whether or not I deserve it doesn't even come into play.

I bought a mountain bike last year that cost a lot of money. I'm feelin guilty cos I don't use it as much as I should. It's sitting out the backs getting rusty in the snow, sleet and rain. :(

Wow..that's hard to do on a budget when you have kids. I'm always buying something they need. I guess for me it would be last September on my birthday when I bought a Yankee Candle- I'm not sure I was thinking I deserved it, but I sure wanted it badly. :)

i never really buy myself something because i deserve it. if i only bought myself things when i "deserved it", i would have barely anything. but um, last time i bought something for myself was a week ago when i went shopping. in kohl's. and JC penny.

2 days ago i bought myself chocolate because i am on a diet and i reached my goal (i lost 15 pounds) and now i am back on the diet feeling good lol <3
