This is no big deal , have him sell himself , smile and be outgoing. The worse that can happen is he wastes an hour of his time , plan something fun or special for after the interview to look forward too !!
( I am doing five interviews today, the first one that is relaxed and smiles gets the job !! )

dress professionally, if you have any piercings don't wear them, answer questions directly and honestly, don't fidget seem confident, have reason why you want to work there memorized, they will ask, also know something about the place so that you can ask some intelligent questions about the job. As for nerves, before you walk into the interview remember to go to the bathroom, and right before take three big calming deep breaths.

Interviews are often nerve-wracking...and the interviewer knows you will be nervous.

The only thing that I do (I don't know about your faith), is pray that the right words will come and if it be the will of God, the job will be mine. It totally puts me into a relaxed mood so I can be myself.

Each time I have done this, I have gotten the job!

Good luck.

its an employees market, just relax , they should be kissing your butt and just glad you showed a spark of interest in their company. whatever they are offering i would up it by 10 dollars per hour take it or leave it. or you could let it be known that this is the last chance they will have, to get to have you on staff, an opportunity that certainly they will not want to miss.

when you are in a interview never look at your watch no mater what . if you do this it would mean that you don't have time for them . try to relax by drinking some hot cup of cafe it kips you aware of what you are doing and active.

Wear clothes in which you know you look good.
Think up at least one good question to ask when you're asked for questions.
Try to eat something light before you go so you know your tummy won't rumble
DON'T RELAX TOO MUCH - NERVOUSNESS IS NORMAL AND WILL ENABLE YOU TO GIVE YOUR BEST.

Very good luck

Imagine the interviewers naked, sitting on the loo. Remember, you can do the job, just be yourself and smile. Very disarming.
