Sisodia seems to have done a lot of research on India through the net !
But in general, I agree that India is too vast and complicated to 'know' properly in a single lifetime.
Suffice to say that the diversity of culture and ethnicity in India is so great that you have to spend several years in India to begin to fathom its depth.
If you have specific queries, you can get answers on the net, but please surf Indian portals and not foreign ones where the information is twisted or biased.
Incidentally , unlike what many westerners think - India does NOT have snake charmers sitting by the roadside or cows wandering around on major roads. Neither is it so poor that you have starving children running behind you in rags asking for tips.
As for the person who says it 'smells', I would advise her to smell her own backside before making idiotic comments like that.
It is a developing nation and is developing very fast.It is highly self -sufficient and has technology to match the best the world can offer.
It should catch up and probably surpass most of the major economies of the world in the next 10 years. It is cheap, wonderful, dusty, dirty, lovely, full of life and a wonderful place to be in.
If there is life after death , I would like to be reborn an Indian.

From a foreginers view point... "Its absolutely no match to My Country".

But from my view Point...."Its the best place on earth, HOME".

Basically u cannt judge anything anywhere. Like i hate my life out of India, iam dieing to go back. Its the same for all of us. No matter where u r, until u r home u wont be happy.

You have already received an extremly long answer from somebody else to ur question, this is just to tell u,
" No matter what, This is India."

A beautiful country culturally... A humble country endowed with beauty of mature (the leftover spots where humans haven't settled much civilizations) An intelligent country full of brains...

BUT i agree still it stinks... its not poor that stinks its not semi arid extreme regions that stinks...its not primitive working offices and simple living that stinks... NO they dont

what stinks is poverty, wht stinks is dirt in local areas, what stinks is corruption and what syinks is rich getting richer and poor getting poorer...

India is the country if united can take up the power... all we need to do is work with sincerity...

anyways... i dont think i described it all or answered u perfectly... but i think this is my answer...

good luck.
