Ok here is the problem i am in ice peak and i am on my way on getting the 2nd mirror shard but a big icy creature is bloking my way! there is a canon ball there and i am guessing i need to put a bomb in an aim it at the monster but nothing happens what do i do is this canon ball broken or somthing? ALL I WANT IS TO GET PASS THAT STUPID THING AND GET TO WHERE I NEED TO GO!! AAAARRH! I AM SO ANNOYED RIGHT NOW!!! someone please tell me what i need to do!!

well obviously its not broken, however i DO feel your pain, it took me a long while to figure it out as well, ill assume you dont have the compass at this point...
Ignore the cannon and go thru the north east window then through the door on the other side.
In this room theres a cannon ball and on the other side past the Ice walls and Monsters is a cannon. Kill the monsters aand rotate the cannon clockwise and fire it to blast a wall and open a new room.(place cannon ball in it and then drop in a bomb.)
Carefully walk across the beams, careful for the ice patches and monsters. open the chest for the compass and then Head North and West back out to the courtyard.
Turn into a wolf and kill the monsters, then turn on your senses, near the window you climbed through before, dig on the sparkly spot to reveal a chest with a small key.
Use the key to open the door to your east and inside pull a lever near the door. Pick up a cannon ball and place it in the scoop. Back in the courtyard pull the level and the cannonball will slide down the chute.
Pick it up and place it in the cannon. Turn the cannon to face the ice monster and then drop in a bomb >:)

find a cannaball and grab a handle to find chute. Then load a cannonball into it and go back through the door to and pull the level on the opposite side of the wall to get hold of the cannonball. Load it into the cannon and rotate it 180 towards the ice beast. Then drop a bomb inside to fire and go through the door that was blocked.i hope it helped.

I hated trying to figure out the cannons. you gotta get a cannon ball to the cannon. if it needs to go into another room you have to use one of those catapult looking things by using the handle to get the low side on the side with the cannon balls and running around and pulling the handle on the other side.
To use the cannons point it where you want it to destroy and load a cannonball then load a bomb. It took me awhile too.

You need to put the cannonball in the cannon, then a bomb. You don't need to go through the rooms you're going through, but it helps.
