I read a review by a customer on Amazon. He stated he had over-heating issues.

I know someone who had his overheat and break. It sat on it's on shelf and had nothing anywhere near it.
he had to send it into Sony and he still hasn't got it back and it's been 3 weeks.

From PS mouthpieces to neutral media reports.... no. You'd have to do what no sane person would do, like play it in a sauna or buried under something, then like any other electronic gizmo it probably would.

Although during the Tokyo Game Show it did, causing investors to panic and pre-order people to sweat.
