A comic book is a portal into a world where the fantastic is commonplace. From men who can stick to walls and shoot webs to talking ducks from another world... To the mis-adventures of an eternally teenage redhead and his high school friends.
A simple 4-color, 32 page, piece of modern art; most of the time for less than 3 bucks.
To me, THAT is what a comic book is.

Comic books are things made of paper and contain images of a certain classification, generally humourous. e.g. www.pbfcomics.com
The comic book is sold in the 'comic book shop' and are managed exclusively by lonely, obese men, who find contact (esp.sexual) with other human beings very difficult and so secclude themselves in their world of sci-fi, late-nite internet porn and greasy nachos.
If you ever need go into one of these shops, have a bath/shower afterwards.
hope this helps :) !
