i thimk the nintendo wii is an awesome machine,
zelda is fantastic, though i think your right about it being a bit easy, i completed the whole game without losing 1 life, in comparison, i lost about 25 lives on ocarina of time,
call of duty 3 and red steel are about the best of the rest at the moment, especially as they incorporate the wiimote so effectively, especially red steel wghere you use both wiimote and nunchuck as swords
wii play is a good buy, mainly as you get another wii mote free with it, however i have had play for 2 weeks, and now i have mastered all the mini games, i rarely play it!
wario ware looks fun, however i imagine that the best way to play is with friends as its more fun watching them prance around like idiots! but this will set you back a few bob if you need more wiimotes!!
if i were you id go for red steel, its an excellent fps, very trick and extremely playable, the price is none too bad either i got a brand new copy off ebay for £28 inc postage,
sports games are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, with only really wii sports and need for speed carbon, i would give NFS a miss if i were you, i got a copy for xmas and quickly sold it. the handling and controll system are cr*p, plus there is a new one out next month as well NFS the island,
but there are a few good ones on the horizon too, such as sonic and the secret rings, trauma centre and exibit!
plus you mustnt forget the virtual console centre where if connected to the internet with your wii you can download a choice of around 60 games from NES, SNES, Mega Drive and N64 directly onto your Wii,, you will however need to fork out about £15 on a classic controller to play the games!!
good luck in whatever you choose

If you consider yourself a "hardcore" gamer then it's "wait-and-see" if the Wii can satisfy you. Zelda, to a hardcore RPG fan is NOT hardcore RPG, is extremely easy and childish. It's great to get started on RPG element driven games, but for the "best-of-the-best" Zelda doesn't typically rank there. For that you'd have to go to Gears on the 360 or the PS systems (Magna Carta was a big hit in Asia.) The titles will continue to reflect their target demographic, which is NOT the typical gamer (read young males) profile. And Wii sports is just to showcase what can be done with the Wiimote.
However, the COMING games line-up is pretty impressive in scope: Far Cry, Mortal Combat, SSX Blur, Super Smash Bros., Final Fantasy: CC, Prince of Persia, and Metroid Prime: Corruption.
Good Regular Games:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (on all platforms), Excite Truck
Good Weird Games:
Super Monkey Ball, Rayman Raving Rabbids
Most "hardcore" types I know buy the Wii for party, weird and multiplayer games (the one things Nintendo truly excels at) and a 360 or PS3 for their more "serious" gaming.

The Wii is the most useless piece crap to come out of Nintendo's factories. Even worse than the Gamecube. It's basically a redesigned Gamecube with a motion sensing ( not wireless - there's a difference ) controller.
There is nothing new or inovative about the controller. Nintendo made the same type of controller back in the 80's called 'The Glove'. It failed as I am sure the Wii will too.
As far as good games on the Wii, there aren't any. Just more of the same old stuff except that you have to control them now by waving your arms in the air like a complete moron. Which is exactly what you look like while you're playing them.
Basically Nintendo has everybody brainwashed that the Wii is the greatest thing since sliced bread. But the reality of it is everybody who has run out and bought a Wii has realized what a piece of crap it is but are too embarrassed at this point to admit it to their friends, or anyone else for that matter.
Anyway, if you want to waste $250.00 on a game console whose game library consists of a bunch of Flash and Java type games as well as games solely designed for kids ( except RedSteel, but that's a Shenmu clone and not as good as the original title on the Dreamcast ) then who am I to tell you how to waste your money.
Okay, let all the Wii crybaby fanboys tell me to @%*&!$ myself and shut the ^$*)@#! up! Wah, wah, wah. Go!

Well, good for you! We've been at it two weeks now, most days, and we're only just about to go into the Twilight Palace now! We got stuck on how to activate the heavy switch in the sky temple for days, and had to resort to a walkthrough in the end!
Rayman ravin' rabbits is good fun, and we still play Wii Play - I'm rubbish at all of it, but I still enjoy it.
That's all we have at the moment, try Red steel or can you download games?

'course you're a bit skint! you should have waited 'till you got it because it will depreciate in value until you can buy it and some games for about £50. I do business studies.
