I had a really bad knee injury a few years ago. They can be really serious if you're not careful. My physical therapist told me it was important to ice it. She told me to mix half a cup of alcohol and water, freeze it in a big Ziploc bag and then that night elevate my knee and put the bag on there 20 mins on and 20mins off for 3hrs. Take Ibuprofen for inflammation and pain and it should be okay. The alcohol and water allows the ice to fall around your knee instead of hard ice cubes in awkward positions.

i had a similar problem and carried on playing and in the next game twisted my knee and now have ruptured my acl cruciate ligament and need an operation so my advice would be to goto the doctors and get a scan on it because otherwise you could miss alot more than one tournament sorry

SEE A DOCTOR.

trust me. i just sprained my ankle yesterday, and decide to go to a doctor ( normally i just leave it to heal itself.)

its amazing how much faster these injuries can heal with the aid of the anti-swelling creams and medicines.

trust me on this, really. i can even walk now, 24hours later, when i was screaming the moment i had to put weight on my ankle yesterday
