Like yourself, shaving also gave me problems.. like getting ingrown hairs that gave me no end of grief.
I tried and now keep using 'VEET'. I find this to be fantastic. It is a hair removal cream and I get it the sensitive one.
As long as you are careful applying it you should have no problems. I have never had a problem with VEET and will always use this one.

Waxing is also painful! Be careful when you shave - pubic hair is there for a reason! Ok, I found what works best is this: use a razor that is sharp (but not too sharp) one you've used a time or two. Make sure you have either warmed the area with a warm washcloth or shave after a bath or during your shower! Try shaving with hair conditioner or Noxzema (the original kind), it takes a little longer, but the shave is closer and causes fewer problems. After drying REALLY well, apply a plain, unscented, white deodorant (helps to prevent chafing and those little red bumps) Do not put on lotion - it will irritate your skin! Gently exfoliate a couple times a day (again, a warm washcloth works well) Peace

I know what you mean, I tried to wax it a few times and it is the most excrutiatin thing in the world, my man and me were trying it and it was soooooooooooooooooooo sore. I ended up washing it off and never doing it again. I shave now, and it does get better, after your skin down there gets used to the shaving it will feel better. But why dont you go to your local beauty salon and get their opinion. They are the best to ask.

Have you tried getting waxed professionally? I would never wax at home, it'd be too hard trying to see what I'm doing, especially for a first time.
A professional won't leave wax behind, so I'm pretty sure you're guaranteed no sticky fingers from residue.

dont b upset. this is the smallest problem. personally i think shaving is easy but i know wat u mean cause after shaving u get itching and the hair becomes thicker. BUT also there are lots of creams u put on the area, leave for a few minutes according to the instructions and than wash away. it will take mayb a week to start growing back but everyones different. u can get the cream from the pharmacy. if ur planning on using it please try a small area on your hand or feet first cause it can cause problems if u have sensitive skin (it will tell you this on the instructions too) goodluck

I say waxing. But get that done professionally if u can. But using a razor do leave razor bumps and sometimes scars. Ur best bet is waxing. Pay the little extra for professional though. Its worth it.

You have sensitive skin, unless you can find/afford a hypo allergenic wax and a spa that you trust aviod getting waxed. There is a shave gel called coochie cream, no kidding, that seems to work for situations like this, look it up on google or something like that, its kinda of a grey pink bottle. My housekeeper uses it and I over heard her and my wife discuss it at breakfast, now my wife uses it and man its pretty awesome.

I had my first brazilian wax the other day and despite my nervousness, it was a relatively painless experience. I highly recommend getting a professional to wax this area as it is really sensitive and very difficult to wax yourself (I know cause I tried a while ago with disasterous results...!)

do not REPEAT !! DO NOT USE A HAIR REMOVAL CREAM ON (or near) your genitals....
Waxing is hard to do, granted. but it's really the best. and it gets easier the second time cause the root follicles get weaker as they adapt to being ripped out.
Try using the pre waxed strips. That stuff comes off in the shower real easy. For any hair that you miss, just pull it out with
any kind of grabbing device. ( I was able to use my fingers but your mileage may vary.)
Then put a mixture of baby oil and aloe vera on the tender skin.

I usually trim up the area w/hair clippers or beard trimmers. Then I use a new razor, slightly moist & shaving cream & trim the creases of my legs or whatever. You can use an antiseptic containing Salicylic Acid to help prevent razor burn after shaving the area.

Go to your local shop for a Bikini Wax job and leave the mess and sticky fingers to the pros, that is part of what you pay for.
