Why not declare Osama dead?

He hasn't been heard from or seen for what, 3 years? I would rather think he's dead and be wrong than alive and be right. What say you?

Because if he were dead, they would lose the ability to use him as a boogey man?

May be because he is not dead yet. Furthermore, we do not want to create more osamas! We have had enough of this one! Let the asleep barking doge remain asleeeeeeep!
