2/3rds of the country is against the war..it is not a lie to say it was a mistake and stop it, use some of the saved money for reparations to troops, their families, the innocent Iraiqis, and environmental cleanup and treating the health of the many victims and future victims of depleted uranium poisoning. Just because one soes not support the war, they do support the troops. This generation has had more support than others, way more..look at how the Viet Nam troops were treated. To make a statement that questioning an unjust war or examining the truth of this quote is lies and not supporting troops is wrong. It is the leaders who used WMD like depleted uranium which also injures and kills our troops and their DNA who are the ones whose hands are not clean..the ones who order white phosperous weapons used on women & civilians who have no purity of heart. Don't mistake the troops themselves victims not told the truth about DU with the political and military leaders making decisions

Also to ask us to support the war/troops at the expense of our conscience or souls is not right. I do support the troops but not the war and use of depleted uranium

You are so silly to think that if I personally "supported" the troops (in the way you want it done as opposed to trying to save their lives and the future as depleted uranium victims, and their families pain upon their death, injury, or trama) that if i don't do it your way, that I personally am the reason were aren't winning and that if I change and be like you, we will win and they will come home. I am afraid you give me and all the antiwar protesters too much power. It is not in our power to make them win like a sports team..cheer louder and they win..there are too many variables.. It is those in charge who will or won't send them home. All we can do is hope they don't rig the vote again like in 2000, 2004, and 2006 (yes, I think they rigged in to let the dems take it this time) and that the leaders would actually represent the people.

You are just mad because of the correctness of what I said and the fact that you are in the minority of people supporting the war and

if you go to a corner and protest the watr as I have, you get one in 400 comments against what you are doing and nonstop honks of support. If you go downtown and talk to people like I have almost all will support you and speak against Bush. Many of the troops themselves are against the war but afraid to speak up except to just their families. Read Michael Moore "will they ever trust us again to see some of their letters..and many more how come on board since then..I'm sorry you feel blasted but I feel you are wrong and so do 2 out of every 3 americans and more nonamericans..most of the world in fact disagrees with you,....and are against this war..facts are facts

When it comes down to, "My country, right or wrong"... you can put your money on "wrong".

People who cannot honestly examine themselves and change what needs to be changed, can do no more for their country. A nation is simply a reflection of the people who comprise that nation.

No. It depends on "the motive of the starter of the voice". Some people do things for their own glory and people today has a big tendency to do that
so it may not be noble or with a pure heart.

Someone also said "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel".

We had (have) war fever going on in this country wherby anyone who questions our current war is considered unpatriotic.

ought to i say that because of the fact the church brought about assorted witch burnings, then all christians have been murderers and that christianity is a faith of hatred and dying? or that anyone roman catholic monks are pedophiles? And specific, muslim extremists who kill interior the call of religion are killers, purely like another variety of extremist. yet that may not all-inclusive. muslim extremist isn't synonymous with muslim. the latter covers an somewhat vast selection of human beings and ideology. yet excuse me, to cite your 2d paragraph, do you communicate a individual who has killed yet another (be they muslim or in any different case) "harmless"? even the bible says "an eye fixed for an eye fixed", inspite of the reality that i don't propose that. and NO, God would not % us to kill in His call. weapons do not kill, human beings do.
