Some discharge is normal. If this is not regular for her, I would still not be overly concerned though.
Sometimes women have a thick white discharge when they ovulate, around midcycle (Day 14 on average). It sounds like her cycle is a bit off, so it is possible she ovulated again right AFTER the period.
It doesn't sound like a yeast infection if there is no itching (and usually they tend to clear after a period), but if her cycles are becoming irregular (and there is no way she is pregnant), a trip to the doctor may be a good idea to rule all the possibilities out.

As always - go to the doctor! Having said that, it is possible that your wife's body is discharging the "build up" in her uterus from her cycle. You don't mention age, pregnancies, etc, so there are a lot of things that could be causing the discharge. Not to sound "too personal" if there is no odor, it is clear (or "egg white" looking) no smell or pain, no itching or redness, it could be near her time of ovulation. It's inconvenient, but "usually" not a problem.
Peace!

urinary tract infection is the answer. Its very common with women. Some tend to not drink a considerable amount of water by medical standards and what happens they hold urine most of day instead of emptying their bladder. Bacteria breeds in moist environments. Its also important to know that should you love unprotected sex. I would suggest she submit a urine specimen to your local clinic or hospital. They will put her on antibiotics and hopefully she will drink lots of water and this complaint will not happen again and maybe you will have to take medication also to make sure you dont give her a urinary tract infection after she recovered from hers.

This is known as leukhoria and in homeopathy if you take 3 pills of Natrum. mur (30) and 3 pills of Sepia(30) one before food and one after food three times a day for 2 weeks the problem would be solved. If you do not believe in homeopathy then consult an allopathy doctor.

I would take her to a gynecologist quickly, while it is oozing this material, so that a swab culture could be taken and analyzed. If negative, then the both of you would be able to breather much easier instead of being upset and worried about it.

She should clean up there more often and change her underwear. As well as drink more water and cut out sodas.
that should help.
