Where can I get the birth control pill that makes the period go away?

I remember reading about a pill that made periods go away, but where can I get it?

Go to your Doctor, there's one called Seasonale that lets you have 4 periods a year.

I think what you are talking about is the pill called Seasonale. But you dont have take a specific pill to stop periods though. I was told recently by my ob/gyn that you can take your regular birth control pills but you would not take the reminder or dummy pills. After you take the 3 wks of the actual birth control pills, you would just start a new pack immediately

you can do that with the current pills you are on....

just ask your doctor that you want to take a "continuous dose" of your pills, and s/he shouldn't have a problem adding a couple refills to your current Rx.

Continuous dose just means that when you are supposed to be on your placebo pills [the ones you take when you are on your period]; you don't take them. you start a new pack of birth control.

i have been on continuous dosages for about 3 years now, and sometimes have a little breakthru bleeding, but not too bad... however, i recently got switched to loestrin fe which sucks!!- i bled [heavy] for like 2 weeks straight - and now am on tri-nessa [which is only $10 with my insurance]... the first 2 or 3 months you are doing this, you may have spotting, but that is normal. your body is just adjusting to the continuous dosage.

You can only get a prescription from your doctor. There are several birth control pills that limit the number of periods you have.

i dotn know about a pill, but i have the marena coil fitted and i went from heavy pro longed to none at all, i cant tell you the last time i had a period its friggin great!!!!
