you can read more on yoga and specially tantra yoga. It gives clear guidelines to increase your timing, and some advice is practical and down to earth.
In simple words you must be hot till you enter your girl, once inside, you should cool down, and try to penetrate, never pierce. This does help a bit.

I don't think it's your timing that is short....you're putting to much pressure on yourself to perform. I think you should just take your time and relax and enjoy. Don't rush the moment---savor the moment by just taking your time. If you don't you'll be a quick rabbit----and there is nothing worth than a sneaky quick rabbit.
