Go to the Downtown Library and ask to see their copies. They may now be on computers or The Birmingham News probably still has copies in the morgue as they were sister papers for many years. Call the Lib. first because the research dept. maybe able to tell you where the copies are.
Remember it was The Birmingham Post-Herald
