yes stack effect will cause a draft up the chimney. air conditioned air will escape in the summer. and air will infiltrate in around doors (especially) and windows to make up the difference. If it's hot outside, that will be more hot/humid air that will need to be cooled.
So keep the damper closed or the doors shut on the fireplace when not in use. You can use smoke from a cigarette to see the amount of draft being caused (you can use really small bits of paper too).

I’m a little confused here by your question and maybe it is just the way it is phrased. Your chimney will allow for cold air to enter into your home this time of year and create a cold thermal layer close to the floor (lower than our knees). It is recommended that your chimney flue is closed when your fireplace is not in use whether it is in the winter months or the summer.

Not a lot, but the warm humid air entering the cold house will likely cause condensation, rusting your flue and fireplace insert if you have one.
You really should close the flue after the fire has cooled down and ashes cold.
