RAINBOWS

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you.
And share with you it's beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own.
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me,
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
But let me be...what I know best,
a friend that's always there.

~Khahlil Gibran~

Friends

One day when you feel alone
Remember i'm at the end of a phone
I love you loads
And that must show
I want to let all the world to no
I have a friend, that is you
I love you for all you do
Your face so sweet and your heart so gentle
Keeping me together when i'm going mental
Telling me you love me and that you hold me tight
Being there for me even in the night
Thank you friend you mean a lot to me
Maybe now you'll see
How much you mean to me

Good luck, and this site is amazing!!!

You can't beat Ogden Nash. How about this one?

Some Thoughts On Women In Trousers.

Sure, deck your lower limbs in pants,
The limbs are yours, my sweeting.
You look divine as you advance.
Have you seen yourself retreating?

Or this? Where the title is much longer than the poem.

Some Thoughts on the Relative Merits of Sweetmeats or Alcohol in Dating.

Candy,
Is dandy.
But liquor,
Is quicker.

Hope he cheers up soon and that all these poems bring a smile.

This one always works for me

New Journeys

After new journeys are past
We wait and wonder
What paths to take
In the great world yonder

I can now go beyond
Don't want to waste miles
Keep sharing friends smiles

Wherever my paths lead
New adventures I will find
I still need friends with me
They will never be left behind

The best thing to cheer up is to have a laugh:)

So here's for your friend a wonderful poem by Tim Burton:

SUE

To avoid a law suit,
we'll just call her Sue
(or "that girl who likes
to sniff lots of glue").

The reason I know
that this is the case
is when she blow her nose,

kleenex sticks to her face.

Enjoy! :D

The Squirrel

Like a little gray coffee pot,
Sits the squirrel , he is not,
All he should be
Kills by dozens trees
And eats his red brown cousins.

The hunter on the other hand
Who shot him, Is a Christian and,
Loves his enemies, which shows,
The squirrel was not one of those.

Here for you
A word or two
Cheer up mate
I think you`re great.

Chin up Chum
Don`t be glum,
Cause when you frown
I feel down.

I want to say
I`m there for you,
And when you smile
I`ll smile too.
