It could be either a UTI or Yeast Infection. Some UTI's you have no burning or itching. As for yeast infection there is usually disharge left in your panties. Either way you need to go to your GYN ASAP. UTI's that are left untreated can travel to your kidney's and bladder or even your blood stream, very painful. Yeast Infections can be treated by Diflucan which is1 pill you take and yeast infection starts to clear 1 day later. Or you can try Monistat 7. Either way, like I said, you need to see your doctor right away. Just because you aren't having sex does not mean you can't get a UTI or yeast infection. Good Luck hon!

Yes it could be an infection. There are numerous types of infections that one can get in that area & you won't necessarily have an itch to scratch. Bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, etc ... those are two. You don't have to be sexual active. Poor diet, weakened immune system, or even that "time of the month" can cause an infection. See your OBGYN & let them do a pelvic exam. Chance are it is an infection & they can prescribe you an antibiotic or a cream for you to use.

Best to see a doctor. Could be a bacterial infection or sign of something else in female organs. Doesn't have to be sexually related - could be from any number of things, and easily treated.

it could be a simple fungus ( candida) and it could be an infection or anything els. go see your doctor and put your mind at ease. don't assume just because you aren't sexually active that you will not catch anything.
