Okay say a (person either) is in a hetrosexual relationship then later decideds that they are gay and has a relationship with someone of the same gender.
When do they say / feel that they have lost their virginity? With the first relationship or with the person of the same gender? Or is it classed as losing your virginity to each gender?
(Sadly this came out of the conversation on BB last night when they asked H when he lost his. he said 18 and my wife & I satrted wondering if it was to a man or a women & how gay people viewd it)

If a person engages in heterosexual sex then that is when they lost their virginity. However, if the same person later engages in penetrative sex with a person of the same gender then they technically lose their virginity anally. Bit complicated, but hope this helps provide clarity.

If you want to look at it like that a person can lose their virginity a number of times.
Each different sex act could be seen as losing a cherry.
Personally I think you are a virgin only once.

from the points of view of my partner and I who are lesbians , we say yes we consider we've lost it twice,we've both had early encounters with men and now are only attracted/sleep with women. Our 1st times with women were considered to be losing our virginity with them. so our answer is yes!

um well i count the conventional virginity losing as the one. but when i slept with my female friend she did say shed lost her virginity to me, in that way, cos i know shes slept with lots of men.

I say you do lose it twice if you're in a hetero relationship and then a gay relationship as the sex is different.

some people do feel this way.. as this is their first time engaged in sex with someone from the same sex.. actually it also can be said as first time experience
