It shouldn't hurt still, but I have heard of some women having pain no matter what, and they lost their virginities at younger ages. I'm surprised in this day and age that you were able to keep it so long, and as a woman, am very very proud of you for your strength. I only wish I had done the same. Then again, I married at 18, so same difference. Call your OBGYN and see what he/she says. It might be fixable.

After a year, it shouldn't hurt. What this tells me is that you are not arounsed enough to produce lubricant. Maybe you get nervous because you think it's going to hurt?
Basically, you need more foreplay. More kisses all over the body, more touching, more stroking, more tickling. And then, you don't have sex the moment you feel moisture, you should be really, really wet and really want to go farther.
Even if your husband was not a virgin, that does not mean he knows anything about sex or what gives women pleasure or even that he's a better lover than you. It just means he stuck his dick in another person. You might try renting a marriage video (not porn) that talks about pleasure and how to explore. It can be a good tarting point for talking about these issues if you really have no idea. I write a blog for new mothers and it is normal for most couples to have sexual problems at some point in their marriage. Post below for you to read and think about.
I think it is important that you work on this before you have children. if you don't learn how to enjoy sex before you have a baby, there won't be the time or energy to learn afterwards.

No, it shouldn't. Go to the store and buy k-y jelly. Its a sexual lubricant. Smear it all over his penis next time before penetration. See if that helps you not hurt. Some women just naturally don't make enough lubricant, so the friction hurts during sex. If that isn't the issue, you need to go get checked for an infection. If its his size, have him try not going in as far next time. Talking to a doctor is a good idea.

It doesn't matter how long it took you to lose your virginity congrats on being that patient not many people can say that these days, but to your question it is normal for it to hurt the first couple of times but if you have been having sex for a year then i would suggest you go to the Doc.

No it shouldn't hurt. Please see your doctor so he/she can rule out any kind of infection or anatomical problem. If everything seems normal you might just need some lubrication, which is available over the counter at drug stores.
