Heh, I'm actually doing this homework right now. If you could tell me how to do it on a calculator, that would be awesome.

Think of this logically rather than strictly mathematically. If you've got 1^1 (1), 2^2 (4), 3^3 (9) and so on, when you get to n^n, if you have no endpoint, then you've got infinity^infinity. Which means you can't get a sum.

If you have an endpoint, that is a completely different story.

For the first person 3^3 is 27 not 9.
3 cubed is 3X3X3=27

this will be the series n^n.
the series diverges by n^th term test.
this series means that n increases without bound.
therefore, the sum is infinity.

n (n+1) ( 2n+1) /6.

Check the formula by inference method.
