I'm worried that TV can influence people. I watched the Titanic yesterday, and after it, I put ice cubes in my bath and sank my rubber duck. What do you think?

Hehe, did Leo save you?

Sure TV can influence people. I don't agree with the 'hpodermic needle' paradigm though - that TV has a direct influence on everyone. We have various filters and ways of interpreting information. Any information that we receive through TV gets passed through these filters and we interpret the message pretty much how we are brought up to interpret it.

Gee, if that's what you do after watching Titanic, I hope you never watch Saw or Hostel...

Yes it does.First time i watched wrestling i felt sorry for the person who was badly beaten.I couldnt understand why an individual can go for a game that can cause body injury.Nowadays when i watch i very much want to see the person am not surpporting beaten to death. So watch what you watch.I intend to stop watching violence and immoral films on TV.

Sure, it can. I aways buy things that I watch on TV. Anyway, there are the both sides because sometime you can get something knowledgeable or make you fun. You just have to think before you do things.
