30 minutes north of downtown Dallas. Wonderful convenience with exceptional beauty.
Our town motto is "McKinney, unique by nature."
The overall city plan has been to retain large open natural landscaped areas throughout. Since this natural terrain is very wooded, that gives us a lot of trees and green areas, and we can trust it will stay this way.
Our town rewards and encourages energy efficiency in every sector. Our Walmart has full solar panel covered roof and two eletricity generating wind turbines.
The average price of a home is around $175,000.
The lowest is $50,000 and the highest is over 2 million.
I love my town in every way.

I read somewhere or another that the average (whatever that means) home in the Chicago area is roughly $260,000 or $270,000. Of course prices can vary widely. A one-bedroom condo in the right building can cost millions. A three-bedroom home in a rough neighborhood can be had for $50,000.
To buy a nice home in a nice neighborhood or suburb you will need $300,000 to $500,000.

For $900,000 here, you could buy a couple blocks of houses! At least! Or go for the old steel mills. They are huge and probably not that much. Downtown property here is cheap, big building for small prices. Skaters have bought some of them.

Buffalo, NY $150,000.00 only because Im looking for a home and have never seen 3 bathrooms even in a 5 bedroom so its hard to price 3bd 3 ba..

Jasper the canadian rockies ( currently) and its like 785,000 for that type of house its a beautiful town with lots of interesting people and it feels very cozy
