In any group interview they will be looking at how you put yourself across and how you interact with the other candidates.

I suggest you arrive early so that you have an opportunity to get chatting to other candidates, that way when the interview begins you'll feel more relaxed in their company and know their names.

When the interview begins, make sure it's not all the others doing the talking and that you have input too. On the other hand, show that you are listening to what the others have to say by commenting or even just acknowledging with a yes. You should make sure you do not monopolise all the talk but make sure you have pertinent things to say and are not too quiet. It's a good idea to use another candidates name when referring to something they have said or at a given opportunity because it shows you have been actively getting to know these people and that's what they'd like to see in an employee.

They will be looking for how you perform in a team....co operation skills and also skills of leadership.

Be friendly and smile whenever it seems appropriate but be professional too.

Remember if there is a tea break they will be watching how you interact with the others. A lot of interviewees let their guard down at relaxed times in interviews.

I hope this all helps a little and fingers crossed you get the job!

With utter self belief and oozing confidence. You are the best applicant and you know it and by the end of the interview they will too. You look at the interviewer in the eye and smile when answering your questions. Be clear when speak and make sure you look the business.

Good luck.

Be yourself. Others will try and out do you but let them go ahead. I had an interview like this and this girl jumped in b4 everyone else to answer questions and got it wrong. Just take your time and it is also good to ask questions about anything your not sure of.

Its probably a test of how you interact with people in a stressful competitive environment. Be well prepared IE do your research look at the company website and make sure you know their business. Dress smartly and have your portfolio with you. Be attentive to whats said and make sure your not rude to anyone and be patient. Move with the group dynamic rather than trying to dominate it. Good Luck.

That sounds like a poor way to interview people. Anyway, just be yourself, don't try to out do other applicants, but don't let them overshadow you.

I have several interveiws, in which group applicant structured interveiws were held.
let me tell you now, it is hoorible.
they ask the person sitting next to you a question, they answer it, then they ask you the same question, expecting a difference responce. hard to do, trying not to sound the same as everyone else.
its hard to plan for, hard to sit through, hard to come up with a different answer to the other 5 candidates who just stole your answer. u have to think on your feet, quickly.
