For this question, you have to use logarithms,
so, taking the log of both sides:

log 3^x = log 81
x log 3 = log 81 [since: log a^p = p log a]

now solve for x:

x = log 81/log 3
x = 4

well , you should solve this problem with log . and the way is easy . you should convert it some how . i mean you should say what would be the log81,3 and then you can find the answer . but if you didn't still learned to solve log problems don't worry ! just use your mind !! you should 81 = 3*3*3*3 . right ??
so the X is 4 . easy , huh ??
