I live in Britain, and the winds are pretty much 50-80mph. It is something that is bothering me. Should I go today, or wait til the weather has calmed down?

Definietly stay in today. I have seen pictures of floods on the news and I can hear the wind howling past my window. Some roads are closed today due to high winds as well. Stay in where it is warm and cosy.

I did my shopping on line at Tesco's because of the wind,I had to do it last week too...too risky with flying debris all over the place...it was surprisingly easy as I've never shopped on-line before ...give it a go and stay safe.

the only way i would go shopping today is if it was under cover, i could park the car next to the entrance/exit and i didn't have to drive far to do it- i hate driving in this sort of weather! but i suppose its up to you- how desperate are you for whatever you plan to buy?? i suppose it would be nice and quite in most high streets so you would be quick if you wanted to brave it x

Do a Tesco's online shopping - it's great and remembers all ur faves as it keeps a track of everything u get on ur points card:)

So once you've fully tailored ur shopping list, it just takes one click to to your whole weekly shop! Only costs around £3 for them to get all ur shopping and deliver it to ur door - can't be bad eh?

c ya!

Oh don't bother - put the kettle on and put your feet up instead. That's what I've done. God only knows what I'm gonna feed the kids when they get in from school - our cupboards are bare ha ha.
