Smell, as it is least important

2007-01-18 00:49:41 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

Surprisingly, I would give up my sight. I play piano and can play by ear and I can learn other songs that way. I think it would be interesting experiencing the world by not making judgments based on what I see but rather on what I hear and what I touch smell or taste. I mean a person could be badly scarred and seeing people generally try to look away but with only based on hearing looks wouldn't matter. Also a dish can look repulsive but it might taste good I think I would learn to use my imagination more.

I've thought of this before. I couldn't give up my sense of smell. I wouldn't know if there was a fire or if food was bad and I couldn't taste things the same. I could never give up my sense of sight. I enjoy observing things so much, especially my children and husband. I couldn't give up my sense of touch. I would miss out on the sensations I enjoy so much (I won't elaborate). I won't give up my sense of taste either. I enjoy food and desserts way too much. If I had to give up one, I'd choose hearing. I would miss the sounds of my children's laughter but I could watch the joy on their faces. I would miss the sweet nothings my husband whispers in my ear but I enjoy the tickling and feel of his breath caressing my skin more than the words. I'd prefer not to lose any of them ideally.

Most likely taste or smell. There are unlimited beauties and mysteries which can only be experienced through specific emotions, but i would prefer to have touch, sight and sound because they would help me survive.

taste because you can still smell that something will taste nice

in acutal fact 90 percent of taste is realted to the smell...

your taste buds can only taste sweet, sour and salty everything else if infact as a direct result of smell

so taste would be easiest to cope with loosing for me.

WELL, ALL THE FIVE SENSES ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT. BUT, THERE IS NO GAIN WITHOUT ANY LOSS. HERE, THE GAIN IS NOT SPELLED TO MAKE ME GREEDY. HENCE, IF IT IS REQUIRED FOR ANY USEFUL PURPOSE, SUCH AS GIVING A FELLOW BEING HIS/HER SIGHT, THE ORGAN IS THE EYE.

I guess I'll go with the smell, like everybody, though I know how much impact that has on those who have actually lost it before.

this could be a stressful one, yet i think of i could provide up "smell". I actually % to verify, hear, touch and experience. i actually would not % to get rid of "smell", yet once I purely had to, it may be smell. I had to google the "5 senses" because of the fact after reading my answer i found out "touch and experience" are the comparable element. I omitted "flavor". yet yea, it may nonetheless be smell.
