It is probably normal, as everyone varies, but if in doubt ask your doctor.

Take her to a gynecologist...she may be becoming anemic. Some women have heavier and longer flow but she is still so young and this is going to make it very difficult to function at school. She may have a hormone imbalance which can be corrected with low-dose birth control pills. Seeing a gynecologist is important for this girl

nothing to worry about but i think it would be better if she saw a doctor and an endocrinologist would be better in this case than a gynocologist. she might have some hormonal problems, but heavy flow does not mean an abnormality.
thyroid problems can cause heavy flow for example

Poor her!! Having your period is such a pain!! I don't think this is normal. Espcially if it is making her sick. You should definitly talk to your doctor. I was having really bad period pains and I went to my doctor and he put me on the pill. This will make your period lighter and your cycle easier to work out and also she can stop her period which is wonderful!!!!. I know it seems weird putting a 15year old on the pill. Is she larger build? I suggest go to your doctor and get some tests done, better to be safe.

She needs to take her to a Gynecologist to monitor and diagnose the problem. A doctor is the only one that can answer that question. she may be getting sick and weak due to loss of blood.
Tell her mom its important that she see a doctor.
So No...I don't think its normal.

This girl needs some help. Take her to her doctor and ask him/her what is wrong. He might say to go to a gynecologist. Reassure her that she will be fine, and give her lots of comfort during her period. Good Luck!
XOXO,
Miss Rachel
