call centre rage?

Do you ever get so mad with people on the other end of the phone at call centres or customer services that you want to put your hand down the phone and punch the person till they bleed. I am experiencing this right now and had to hang up on the condesending b******, before i got the answer i was after. i think it will take the rest of the day for my rage to disappear. Grrrrr some people.

It's when you get put through to India, to some poor mug, doing the job for about $5 a day and doesn't have a clue about anything, they sound as if they read off an autocue.
I got so mad with AM-EX when they did this I threatened to protest their HQ.
But even worse than the call center is the automated answering systems.
They read out a list of options, you press the no. you think you want and you get another list of options, and again and again. Finally after 5 to 10 minutes of this you are told you will be connected to an operative but they are all busy so you will be put in a queue, 10 minutes later the phone is finally picked up by a human being who says "hello", then the line goes dead.
