What are the "aeons" in Final Fantasy X called in the other Final Fantasy (including FFXII)?

In Final Fantasy VIII the monsters are called Guardian Force, in FFX are called Aeons, what about all other Final Fantasy series (including the very latest FFXII and if available FFXIII)?

Well, I think they're called Eidolons in FF IX, Espers in FF V, and in most of the other FFs they're simply called 'Summon'. I'm not sure what they're called in FF XII, but I think it was Summoned Beasts. I'll send another answer when I remember.
