No, i think it represents the ineducated chavy side of our society!

The thing is, with a crack fiend for a mother how well was Jade going to turn out?!

It is a pity that she is so high status at the moment cus people will actually think that most of our society shares her racist and ignorant views!

Well, let's just say this all looks kinda pathetic when you're sitting in a Delhi hotel, watching it play out on all of the satellite channels. In the last two weeks, I've found this place to be, well, incredibly polite actually. Sure, the driving is as mad as hell - but that just makes it all the more fun, if I'm truthful. Road rage is meaningless when you can have so much fun with your car horn.

I mean, it's bad enough being lardy, bald and comparatively anaemic in a foreign country, without having the additional burden of explaining to the locals who the fat gobby bird is on big brother... I mean, where do you even start?

You can spot the brits abroad here, because, like the native mosquitoes, you can often hear the distant, telltale high pitched whining, that reminds you it's time to take the necessary avoidance measures.

It's embarrasing all said to be in the thick of it - and let's be honest, us Brits would be totally miffed if we got the same treatment in reverse, for example from across the water. The trouble is, you can't stop individuals being stupid and opening their mouths - hateful and spiteful comments always say much more about the sayer.

Is it worth a big diplomatic scrap? - probably not. It's only a bunch of celebs locked in a house. I bet that A team bloke is dreaming about a transit van right now. Boredom Brown's over here - and that's bad enough. I bet he doesn't tip his waiter...

Anyway, so one Bollywood mega star can't cook a chicken - dearie me, whatever next. Not worth slapping an entire country for though eh - a bit harsh perhaps? But then, you see, I don't want my stars to cook me dinner, I want them to dance and sing and get blown up in space battles and still survive etc etc. and maybe even do a "lorra work for charidy" and NOT talk about it.....

If the childish behaviour of a few tetchy (paid) C4 prisoners represents British society then I'm stopping here, because it's not the Britain I know. I was British at my school (and yes it was in England) and was totally in the minority - There were Irish, Italian, Polish, Indian, even the odd Scot. I didn't even know what rascism was till I left. There were mates, girls and footie and that was about it - but mainly footie, cos I had NHS specs.

With our favourite UK dish being the curry, I think there's a couple of people who are going to feel really sheepish soon. I think I'll post all my DVDs back to the UK and nip down and ask the concierge if he knows a good lipo place round here. That's another problem sorted out by a "roll" model - hardy har.

So, to play my part and help things chill a bit, I reckon this Shilpa lady is gorgeous. I can't vouch for her character because I can't see BB here (and wouldn't want to) - Forget about cooking love, and come round here for a cup of local chai and help yourself to the box of Ritz crackers and the Wensleydale.

Who knows, maybe you might even be good at footie.

No i don't think it does...lets look at the situation we have three "bad witches" (1) a pageant contestant/reject who had to be "nice" with the judges to get any recognition & take her clothes off...(said in the nicest possible way), then we have (2) s.club 7 reject, again not the great looking one in the band, a typical sheep...along for the ride, but what a hypocrite, considering she herself was once bullied. And last, by no means least ..(3) social reject Jade, she's uneduacted, mouthy and an embarrassment to the UK. And by no means a represntative of the UK, and those who call her a friend, well it say a great deal about their sense and class.
Shilpa, a true lady with grace and dignity..she know shes above those silly pathetic excuse for women! Shame BB choose idiots like that to be in the publics eye not only in the UK but globally...lets hope next year they choose more carefully, as their decision has hurt and upset alot of people, not to mention mis-represented our society to the world.

How many are aware that most times these things are set up by the producers to introduce the element of controversy and thus send the ratings sky high. Its all a silly plot.

Why these ******* shows continue to dominate TV beats me, only the moronic and braindead could ever consider this exciting viewing or entertainment. I would sue the organisers for allowing racist comments to be made by their minions. There has to be accountability by the broadcasters as they are getting a lot of money for advertising between the boring dialogue and voyeristic video clips!

British apologists seem to be attributing this racism to the "uneducated" portions of society, but unfortunately it is the "unsmart" and "unprepared" segments of society that reflect what lies beneath the sophistication and polished surface. Thus it is a perfect representation of the racist spirit with which minority women and minorities in general are perceived in British society, and more broadly in Western Europe and the U.S.A. Being a minority is being subject to all kinds of prejudice in the West and goes back to the history of colonization and slavery that made the Western civilization what it is today.

Never watched the program, but from clips I've seen, I gather that Jade is just being her usual thick self, and Shilpa is a complete snob. She knew what she was letting herself in for, she's getting paid a fortune, and she's getting more publicity than she ever could have hoped for. As for hatred toward others in society, well that's always been there-it's part of life. Personally I couldn't give a toss. Just get on with your life and let other people get on with theirs. Oh, and watching CBB is just plain sad.

Hopefully not, but I cannot speak to everyone in the UK. I think its a disgrace that this woman is being victimised and preyed on by 3 dimwits at best.. They have the IQ of a tom cat and need to get a grip. I have taken a strong dislike to them all, but especially Daniella and Jo, they are nothing but SHEEP.

I think the UK is quite liberal to all cultures and colours but the recent issues have made people bitter and afraid, which is a shame as we are only losing out in the logn run. But people from asian nations must understand that. but as I said the housemates dont care if she is brown, black, red or blue, just that she is more beautiful, elegant and classy; which none of them could ever be. And of course, she actually has a career

Hearing what I have about this show (as I don't watch it) would make me ashamed to be white, but I feel very little connection with Jade et al. Shilpa's tormentors are particularly stupid, ignorant and selfish specimens of British citizenry so I don't think they are very representative.

sadly this does represent a small portion of our society, jade illustrates this well as all racists are small minded ignorant bigots with illusions of grandeur. they do not have the cognitive thought to see beyond the outer layers of a person to the person on the inside ( not that it matters what is on the outside at all ) i think jades parents were too closely related.

No. It represents a few waterbrain elements. The underlying nature of Britain/England is one of fairness. Fairness is the beating heart of the English pysche.
