She became famous because she was on BB, and I think that the public liked her because she was the under-dog and because she was so thick. Even though she didn't win BB, she managed to get herself a damn good agent who managed to get a TV and magazine deals etc and due to this her popularity has grown and this is the reason she is famous. I suppose the public like to view her as this common girl that has managed to make a million. But finally her true colours are coming out showing us what we all ready knew, but we preferred not to voice or realise it

Born in Bermondsey, London, Goody worked as a dental nurse before coming to public attention in 2002 when she was a contestant in the third series of the UK version of Big Brother.

Since her first appearance on Big Brother she has earned an estimated £8 million fortune according to Channel Four,[2] in other reality shows and appears almost constantly in celebrity, trivia, and gossip-oriented magazines such as heat and OK!. I'm guessing that once she was famous for her idiotic questions such as "where is east angular?", and because of her blatant stupidity and ignorance there was also an element of charm & innocence to her persona.
But unfortunately, her recent performances on Celeb BB, showed her to be a rather nasty piece of work. Her stupidity will not excuse her for her bullying behaviour of Shilpa.

For being exploited like a puppet by a slick band of sensationalist PR experts who now make a parasitic living off her........there can't be any other reason as she is totally talentless and very unpleasant.

Her big mouth. People made her famous by buing all the magz etc watching her tv prog. Hopefully that will all change now

I don't live in the UK so haven't seen Big Brother UK but it seems to be worldwide news! She seems to represent the very worst of British girls in my opinion, common as muck!
