We'd have no London Transport - No corner shops - No late night car spares places - no place for our under age kids to buy fags and booze - no mini cabs - do I need to go on!

Happy days!

Seriously, there comes a time when, even if one has a good thing, one has to ask if one can have too much of a good thing. Many asians from the Indian sub-continent make valuable contribution to UK society. Never mind the curry houses; just walk into a hospital or your local health centre. But if any immigrants living in the UK are uncomfortable with the culture and heritage (the essential elements of '-ishness') of their adopted country, they should ask themselves why they are here. If they are only here because of economic reasons, then they should leave when they have made enough to enable them to survive back 'home'. If they want to change their adopted country to become like 'home', whatever it is, the natives have a right to wonder why they are here. Colonialism by the backdoor is not acceptable.
This applies to all latter-day immigrants from all countries outside the UK. If they stay, let them be Brits. Multi-culturalism does not make for lasting harmony. If immigrants truly integrate, there is no 'back' to wherever. But there must be a limit to how many one can assimilate successfully.

Keep dreaming. It wont happen. Their ancestry may be Indian but they are UK citizens now. Most of them have never been to India.

Why do you turn every discussion meaningful or not into a discuss on who is an immigrant or not. Thank God I don't live in the UK. Is this how you all treat foreigners. Do you stop to think how it affects your fellow citizens who live abroad?

Why would they want to leave a country with one of the best social services on the world, with free pensions, healthcare, employment benfits etc.

It would take alot more then a jumped up silly cow on television to alienate a whole ethinic group.

We'd have to learn how to make a decent curry for ourselves. Quickly put new doctors and nurses through training!
