Always in the top bed.
Had once a very bad experience when the top collapsed and landed on top of me.
So,i rather sleep on the floor,but that is no option here.therefor I WILL CHOOSE THE TOP.

ooooooooooo I hate bunk beds, I use to fall off the top all the time!!! (a few times, my brother gave me a good "shove off" too)
So I guess I would have to say down!!!!
