What's with these JUDGES who are so dismissive of child molestation cases? Why are they so PRO- pedophile? It makes me sick. These sick, depraved scum who would take an innocent, defensless child and hurt them so badly and ruin their lives and their families as well need to be punished accordingly, and NOTHING is too severe. Giving a guy probabtion? Unbelievable, but all anyone has to do is look at other cases and the sentencing some of these perverts receive to realize that it happens way too often.
It's about a day since this question was asked and I wanted to check back to see the responses and was NOT surprised to see that there were only 3, unfortunately. How very sad that so few people are concerned with this growing problem. REALLY sad commentary on our times. I feel so sorry for our kids, we are really failing them.

Im so pissed at the relaxed laws and light sentances these people are getting.I espesially hate how some child molesters say "It happened to me" and use that for justification and society sympathises with them and excuses their deeds.I myself was molested and I would never hurt a kid.If you didnt like someone doing it to you than how could you do it to another person? I think they should get life in jail because the kids they molest will never have a normal life no matter how well you function it will always interfear with your ability to trust,have relationships and parent your children without sheltering them out of fear.Repeat offenders should get the death penalty.

Okay...I live in Vermont, and I'm guessing that this is in reference to the case down in Bennington...
Listen to Bill O'Reilly or whatever... I am so sick of people bad-mouthing my state over a situation where the do not have all of the facts!
The People of Vermont DO care about their children! Why else would they choose to live in the country rather than bring them up in the rapist/murderous streets of the larger cities!
